To help you understand more about the Castrol Champions Challenge, we’re put together a selection of Q&As and a chart that shows you exactly how points are allocated.
The Castrol Champions Challenge (CCC) is a sell-out promotion for our European Industrial Distributor Network. While themed around our exciting sponsorship with Tottenham Hotspur, the real objective is to accelerate sales of gear oils and cleaners — two product groups with major untapped potential.
The football theme and top-tier prizes add energy to a commercial priority.
Distributors compete on a points-based league table, updated monthly and driven by your sell-out performance in Castrol gear oils, and cleaners.
To keep the game dynamic, there are multiple ways to earn points – from volume performance to bonus missions throughout the season.
No, this is only open to all our European Industrial Distributors who are connected to Turfview.
Please note: Castrol Champions Challenge is an internal initiative and should not be communicated externally.
Each Distributor’s performance is tracked automatically via Turfview sell-out reporting. There’s no extra admin – just play the game by doing what you already do, now with added focus on the gear oil and cleaner opportunity. Turfview’s R&O (Retention & Opportunity) feature gives you instant visibility into where the biggest opportunities lie in your current customer base.
For details of how points are awarded, please see the chart at end of this page.
‘Team Coach’ is a capability-based incentive awarded at Castrol’s discretion to individuals completing designated activities such as e-learning modules, webinars, or “train-the-trainer” sessions hosted by Castrol.
Participants may be awarded League Points and/or branded merchandise for fulfilling the relevant criteria.
Incentive details, including tasks and associated rewards, will be communicated via email in advance of each activity. Prizes will typically be issued following the conclusion of the relevant incentive period.
Each ‘Team Coach’ incentive may be subject to separate terms and conditions, which will be provided at the time of launch.
‘Star Player’ is a discretionary, marketing-based incentive awarded as part of the Promotion. It involves the completion of stand-alone marketing engagement tasks. Participants may be awarded League Points and/or branded merchandise for meeting the specified criteria. Details of each activity will be communicated via email in advance. Prizes will generally be awarded at the end of each incentive period.
Both ‘Team Coach’ and ‘Star Player’ incentives are intended to run during Q3 and Q4 of 2025 and Q1 of 2026.
Castrol reserves the right to amend or cancel the timing and scope of these incentives at its discretion.
