On October 14th , Castrol teamed up with MG for a photo and video shoot at a BP gas station in Warsaw, officially launching the co-branded Castrol EDGE 0W-20 C5 lubricant. This product, specially designed for MG vehicles, proudly carries the endorsement: "MG recommends Castrol."
This partnership highlights our shared commitment to performance and efficiency, with Castrol EDGE 0W-20 C5 now available in Central and Eastern Europe—Romania, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia, and Croatia. It’s a new step forward in bringing high-quality solutions to MG drivers across the region.

On April 15th, 2024, in Budapest – SAIC Motor, the parent company of MG, and Castrol have forged a strategic three-year agreement that will see Castrol serve as the preferred lubricants supplier for the MG network across Central and Eastern Europe.
The agreement brought together two heritage brands to provide solutions tailored to enhance performance and efficiency across the diverse range of MG vehicles.
