High performance and protection

Castrol POWER1 delivers acceleration to drive you forward, while ensuring a smooth ride without slips or judders. Its advanced 3-in-1 formula has been developed to provide three key benefits – excellent acceleration, excellent protection, and smooth riding.

Whether you're a daily commuter, a weekend adventurer, or a leisure rider, Castrol POWER1 is engineered for high performance.

The 3-in-1 formula

Excellent acceleration

When you need high performance, every advantage counts – especially acceleration. Whether you're commuting through traffic or enjoying a weekend ride, quick acceleration can make your ride smoother and more responsive.

Excellent protection

Every start, stop, and shift puts stress on your bike's engine – especially during daily rides or in heavy traffic. High-quality engine oil is essential to help keep your bike protected and performing like new.

Smooth riding

Whether you're navigating city traffic or open roads, smooth throttle response and reliable clutch engagement are key to maintaining control.

Frequently asked questions

Castrol POWER1 has product variants suitable for both two-stroke and four-stroke engines. Its 3-in-1 formula helps to deliver outstanding performance and protection for bikes and engines of all sizes. Use the Castrol Oil Finder to help you select the right oil for your bike.

No, two-stroke and four-stroke engines require different types of oil, and they are not interchangeable. Two-stroke engines need a special 2T oil that is mixed with fuel to lubricate engine components during combustion. This oil is designed to burn cleanly and prevent deposits. Four-stroke engines use a separate 4T oil that circulates within the engine, similar to a car's oil system, and must meet specific performance and wear protection standards.

Using the wrong type of oil can lead to poor engine performance, increased wear, or even serious damage. Always use oil specifically formulated for your engine type and check your owner's manual for the recommended grade. Alternatively, you can use our Castrol Product Finder to identify the right oil for your motorcycle.
