1. The MCO – Ultimate Riding Moment Campaign Competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents in UK, France, Spain, German, Italy, These Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to entrants who are residents in the United Kingdom
2. All entrants in the Competition must be at least 18 years old. Castrol reserves the right to verify the age of entrants.
3. Only one entry is permitted per person per contact detail – duplicate entries will be removed.
4. The Competition is not open to individuals (or their families) who are employees, consultants, contractors or agents of Castrol or its Affiliates, including Castrol Service network workshops, local independent workshops, franchised workshops, or automotive or motorcycle original equipment manufacturers or anyone else (or their families) who are professionally associated with the Competition. For the purpose of these Terms, “Affiliate” of Castrol (as defined below) shall mean Castrol’s parent undertaking or its subsidiary undertakings, or a subsidiary of its parent undertaking or any other person controlled by or under the same control either directly or indirectly. Parent undertaking and subsidiary undertaking will have the meanings attributed to them in section 1162 of the Companies Act 2006.
5. The promoter and data controller of this Competition is Lubricants UK Limited, registered office is at Chertsey Road, Sunbury On Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7BP (“Castrol”).
6. All entrants who complete an Eligible Entry (as defined below) will be entered into the Competition for a chance for one entrant to win two tickets to the Ultimate MotoGP Experience with Castrol at the Valencia MotoGP (the “Main Prize(s)”). The Main Prize includes:
• Hospitality passes, specifically Paddock Passes, which provide access to the Team support paddock and the LCR Honda Motorhome.
• A paddock tour, which will take place within the MotoGP Support Paddock.
• Return economy flights from the United Kingdom. The exact airport and flight times will be determined once the winner’s requirements are known.
• Two nights’ accommodation in a 4-star hotel selected by Castrol. Full hotel details will be shared with winners in advance of travel; however, winners will not have the ability to change the hotel.
• A total of 5 meals throughout the programme, specifically:
o Dinner on the arrival day,
o Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on day 2, and
o Breakfast and lunch on the final day
• Local event transfers between the hotel and event venue on each day.
• The programme will run from 27 to 29 November 2026.
7. Prize details are correct at the date of publication and Castrol reserves the right to substitute any element of the Prize/s with a prize of a similar nature or value as reasonably determined by Castrol should the Prize become unavailable or difficult to source for any reason.
8. Use of Prizes provided by any third party shall be governed by the terms and conditions of any separate agreement with that third party. Castrol and its Affiliates assume no liability whatsoever in relation to any third party provided Prizes, even if Castrol or its Affiliates have been advised of the possibility of such damage or can anticipate such damages. The Prizes must be used in accordance with all applicable health and safety standards.
9. To qualify for and enter the Competition, entrants must complete and supply the relevant contact information requested in the relevant form displayed on the campaign landing page, where winners will be randomly selected. Entrants must complete all mandatory fields in the form (name, last name, email address) to be entered into the Competition (the “Entry Process”). Entries are not finalized until entrants are redirected to the ‘Thank You’ page confirming that their entry has been received. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that failure to comply with these Terms will result in immediate disqualification from the Competition.
10. In addition to the Main Prize(s) described above, the Competition will also award no more than one (1) LCR Honda Team cap (the “Cap Prize”) to the first 150 entrants who complete all mandatory fields in the entry form, including first name, last name, email address, country of residence, and telephone number, and who share their “Ultimate Riding Moment” in the space designated for this purpose within the form, will receive one (1) Prize cap, subject to availability and strict order of receipt of fully completed entries. The ‘Ultimate Riding Moment’ submission must be a minimum of 35 words and a maximum of 300 words. After completing their “Ultimate Riding Moment”, entrants will be required to provide their full residential address. Submission of a valid residential address is a mandatory part of the entry process for Cap Prize eligibility, and entries will not be considered complete unless this information is provided. Castrol reserves the right to verify compliance with these requirements.
11. Entries for the Competition must be received between 15th April 2026 and 31st July 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Only entries that have complied fully and correctly with the Entry Process and that have been received during the Entry Period will be accepted (the “Eligible Entries” and each individually an “Eligible Entry”). Castrol and its Affiliates will not be liable for late entries or entries sent but not received.
12. Entries received outside the Entry Period will be invalid.
13. The winners of a Prize will be drawn, at random, from all Eligible Entries after 3rd August 2026 by an independent third party. Castrol’s decision is final, and binding and no discussions and/or correspondence will be entered into in relation to any of the winners of the Competition.
14. The Prize, must be taken by each winner as offered, may not be deferred, is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Each entrant is only eligible to win one Prize under the Competition.
15. Castrol will notify the winners via email specified by the entrant on its entry form, after the date of 10th August 2026. Cap Prizes will also be notified by email using the same contact details.
16. Winners must confirm acceptance of the Prize within five (5) days of Castrol’s first notification email. If a Prize is declined, unclaimed, or if Castrol does not receive confirmation of acceptance within this period, or if the winner cannot be contacted using the details supplied, the Prize will be forfeited. In such circumstances, Castrol reserves the right to award the Prize to another entrant selected in accordance with these Terms. The replacement winner will be notified in the same manner. Neither Castrol nor any Affiliate of Castrol shall have any liability to a winner if the winner is unable to take up their Prize.
17. Castrol is not liable if a Cap Prize or any part of a Cap Prize is not available to or used by a winner for reasons beyond Castrol’s control or if a Cap Prize or any part of a Cap Prize is damaged or destroyed during delivery.
18. Castrol shall not be liable for any personal loss, injury, damage, cost, or expense incurred by the winner or their guest during travel, accommodation, or participation in the Competition, except where such loss or damage is caused directly by Castrol’s negligence. Winners and their guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents, travel insurance, and any required visas, health certificates, or other documentation necessary to undertake any travel forming part of the Prize.
19. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms upon completing the Entry Process and they consent to the processing of their personal data by Castrol to process my personal data for the purposes of sending me personalised marketing communications about relevant Castrol products or services (via email). Castrol accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. Neither Castrol nor any Affiliate of Castrol has any control over communications networks and shall not be responsible for entries lost in transmission, or received late due to high online traffic levels, for technical malfunction or otherwise.
20. By entering the Competition, the winner agrees to take part in any reasonable associated publicity relating to the Competition without payment when required. Castrol further reserves the right to make available information that a valid award took place for the Competition, namely the name, county, and country of residence of the winners, as set out in clause 27 below.
21. By submitting their “Ultimate Moment Ride” details in the space designated within the entry form, entrants grant Castrol a non exclusive, royalty free licence to use, reproduce, and publish such content globally and only across Castrol’s social media and digital communication channels. Castrol will not publish or disclose the identity of the entrant associated with the submitted content.
22. Save that the winner’s name may be published for publicity purposes in accordance with clause 18 above, entrants’ personal information will only be used by Castrol and its Affiliates for the purposes of administering the Competition and notifying the winners and in accordance with Castrol’s Privacy Statement. If you do not agree with the use of your data in this way, please do not enter this Competition. In entering this Competition you consent to Castrol processing your personal data.
23. If, for any reason, the internet-based entry to the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Castrol which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competition, Castrol reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
24. Castrol may withhold the relevant Prize if it considers in its absolute discretion that the entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria, is in breach of these Terms or has acted contrary to the requirement of good faith.
25. These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising out of or in connection with either the Competition or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
26. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as limiting or excluding Castrol’s liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by Castrol’s negligence, or any other liability to the extent the same may not be excluded as a matter of law.
27. If Castrol fail to comply with these Terms, Castrol will be responsible for loss or damage suffered by the entrant that is a foreseeable result of its breach of these Terms or its failure to use reasonable care and skill, but Castrol will not be responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it would happen or if, at the time these Terms have been accepted by the entrant, both Castrol and the entrant knew it might happen. Subject to clause 25, Castrol does not accept responsibility for the acts and omissions of third parties.
28. If any of these Terms is determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, then the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
29. All trademarks, text, images, and logos relating to Castrol, or third parties involved in this Competition and used in relation to it, are the exclusive property of Castrol or those third parties, and participation in the Competition does not confer any rights to an entrant in or over or grant any right to use these.
30. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt of entry by Castrol.
31. Any tax which an entrant may be required to pay under the laws of any relevant jurisdiction on any Prizes awarded pursuant to the Competition shall be the responsibility of that entrant.
32. Castrol may, at its sole discretion and at any time, suspend or disqualify an entrant, reject any application, amend these Terms, cancel the Competition (either in whole or for residents of a specific country or part thereof) substitute the Prizes and/or withdraw the Prizes, by reason of any event of force majeure. Participants agree that no liability shall attach to Castrol or any Affiliate of Castrol because of an event of force majeure and that the exercise of such discretion by Castrol shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant or other person. In these Terms, the expression “event of force majeure” shall mean any event affecting the performance of the Competition or any provision of these Terms arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents which are beyond the reasonable control of Castrol and/or its Affiliates, including without limitation, any abnormally inclement weather, flood, lightning, storm, explosion, earthquake, subsidence, structural damage, epidemic or other natural physical disaster, failure or shortage of power supplies, war, military operations, riot, crowd disorder, strike, lockouts or other industrial action, terrorist action, civil commotion, by reason of any legislation, regulation, ruling or omissions (including failure to grant any necessary permissions) of any relevant government, court or any competent national or international authority.
33. These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising out of or in connection with either the Competition or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
