The commercial vehicle engine technology has become more demanding and more complex following the big trends on emission legislation, fuel economy and extended oil drains. As a consequence, modern automatic transmissions have also become more complex trying to meet those vehicle needs.
In response to that, Castrol has designed a range of automatic transmission fluids that can help the vehicle’s driveline perform at its best. Our product range includes fully synthetic and advanced mineral products which have been designed to offer enhanced protection and help prolong component life.
Always consult your vehicle handbook to make sure you find the correct fluid for your transmission.

Castrol TRANSMAX ATF Dex/Merc Multivehicle
Fully synthetic transmission fluid for use in automatic and semi-automatic transmissions in passenger cars, trucks and buses.
Meets or exceeds industry standards:
- Meets Dexron®-IIIH, Mercon®
- Suitable for use where JASO 1A(03)
- JASO 1A LV(13) is required including:
- Toyota T III, T IV, WS
- Mitsubishi SP II, IIM, III, IV, PA, J3
- Mazda ATF M-III, M-V, FZ
- Honda/Acura DW 1/Z 1
- Nissan Matic D, J, S

Castrol TRANSMAX Offroad 30
For use in GM automatic transmissions pre 2005 and Ford automatic transmissions built between 1983 and 1996 where DEXRON® (II or III) or MERCON® are required. Approved for use in many European heavy duty automatic transmissions

- ZF TE-ML 03C, 07F
- Meets CAT TO-4
- Recommended for use in Komatsu Equipment
- Recommended for use where Allison C4 is required
Castrol TRANSMAX Offroad 50
For use in automatic transmissions and power steering units of many types of vehicle where Dexron® IID or Mercon® performance is required. Approved for use in many European heavy duty automatic transmissions and Mercedes Benz manual transmissions.

- Recommended for use in Komatsu Equipment
