Castrol Rustilo 4163 is an oil-dispersed and fingerprint suppression corrosion preventive oil. The product deposits a thin, slightly oily residual film.
FEATRUES AND BENEFITS:
- Provides excellent indoor humidity protection for ferrous and nonferrous parts
- High flash point eliminates need for special fire equipment.
- Formulated without heavy metals, (example Barium) which may help to fulfil aspects of legislative requirements and waste treatment requirements that specify that these chemicals are excluded.
- Excellent resistance to acid atmosphere for ferrous and nonferrous parts, which have been stored in or near acidic environments.
- Handled parts are fully protected from fingerprint corrosion because of specially formulated additives.• If required protective films of Rustilo 4163 can be removed by using a petroleum solvent or alkaline process cleaner, all available from Castrol.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Rustilo 4163 has been designed for use in conditions where a high degree of indoor humidity protection is required. The product is suited for applications where the metal has been exposed to water-containing machining and grindingcoolants, cleaners, and water rinses.
- Further Rustilo 4163 is recommended for use when parts are manually inspected or packaged and wherever ease of cleanability is desired.For best results, Rustilo 4163 should be applied by dip, flood or spray method.
