As commercial vehicles become heavier and the need for durability increases, axle fluids are more and more critical for vehicle reliability. Getting the right oil for your vehicle is key to ensuring your rear axle operates as designed and gets the maximum protection under demanding conditions.
In response to that, Castrol has designed a range of axle and universal fluids that can help the vehicle’s axle system perform at its best. Our product range includes fully synthetic and advanced mineral products which have been designed to offer enhanced protection and help prolong component life.

TRANSMAX Axle 85W-140
CastrolTransmax Axle AP 85W-140 is a multipurpose gear oil for use in most trucks, LCV and Passenger carsconventional differentials, non synchronized manual transmissions and steering gears where API GL-5 performance isrequired. It is not recommended for Eaton, Spicer, Renault or Rockwell transmissions as those manufacturers prefernon EP transmission oils.
