The challenge

A leading auto component manufacturer’s plant in Bangalore faced several ‘Fire incidents’ in the past. The fire incidents were related to grinding machines using low-cost oil that did not meet their requirements. Having considered that, Castrol Honilo 981 was recommended with an assurance of numerous direct & indirect advantages along with the elimination of fire hazards. However, the price of Honilo 981 was higher than the competing product.
