It is particularly versatile in cold weather as it reduces shift effort at start-up, as well as controlling
transmission noise and idle rattle at operating temperatures.

Castrol Syntrans 75W-85

Full synthetic manual transmission lubricant with outstanding low temperature fluidity, oxidation stability and synchroniser performance. Eaton has approved Castrol Syntrans 75W-85 for extended service intervals in mid-range transmissions.


Fully synthetic transmission fluid recommended for most passenger car conventional manual and “dry clutch” transmissions where API GL 4 lubricants are required. It is approved for use where Ford WSS-M2C200-D2 is specified.
