Who can claim? |
Only Australian and New Zealand residents who are aged 16 or over are eligible to make a claim. If you are under 18, you must get approval from your parent/guardian before you claim, and if you will be under 18 on the date the gift is awarded, it will be awarded to your parent or guardian. By approving your participation or by accepting any gift on your behalf, your parent or guardian accepts these conditions. Please ensure the Ts&Cs are provided to the parent or guardian. |
Who can’t claim?

Where will the promotion run? |
The promotion will run in participating Repco stores (Stores) in Australia (for Australian claimants) and New Zealand (for New Zealand claimants). The Stores include the online stores available at the Websites (set out below) for delivery in Australia (for purchases made from the Australian online store) and for delivery in New Zealand (for purchases made from the New Zealand online store). |

Qualifying Purchase |
Spend $50 or more on any Castrol product/s at a relevant Store (Qualifying Purchase), in one transaction. Subject to the Claim Instructions below, you will receive one (1) gift for every $50 increment spent in a single Qualifying Purchase transaction, up to a maximum of three (3) gifts during the Promotion Period. For example, spending $100 on Qualifying Purchase/s in one transaction = two (2) gifts in total. Spending a further $100 on Qualifying Purchase/s in a separate transaction = one (1) further gift (leading to a total of three (3) gifts during the Promotion Period). To avoid doubt, spending over $150 on Qualifying Purchases in your first transaction will mean you receive a maximum of three (3) gifts in total, and will not be eligible to receive further gifts. For the purposes of a Qualifying Purchase: If you claim in Australia: $50 means AUD$50 spent at an Australian Store; and If you claim in New Zealand: $50 means NZD$50 spent at a New Zealand Store. |

How and when will successful claimants be informed? |
In-Store: Successful claimants who have made a Qualifying Purchase in-Store will receive their gift from the Repco cashier immediately (subject to gift availability). Online: Successful claimants who have made a Qualifying Purchase from a Website will be immediately notified while making their Qualifying Purchase by being prompted to add the gift to their cart, and will receive their gift with their online Qualifying Purchase order. |
Unclaimed gift/s |
There will be no unclaimed gifts. Any un-won or unclaimed gifts remaining at the end of the Promotion Period will be forfeited. |
Collection and use of your personal information

The Promoter may collect personal information about you directly or through GPC Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (ABN 97 097 993 283) and GPC Asia Pacific Limited (NZBN 9429036791620) (together, Repco), or the Promoter’s agents or contractors, in order to conduct and manage the promotion. If the personal information requested is not provided, you may not be able to participate. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at www.castrol.com/en_au/australia/home/privacy-statement.html (for Australian claimants) and www.castrol.com/en_nz/new-zealand/home/privacy-statement.html (for New Zealand claimants) states: (a) how an individual can seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds and seek the correction of such information; and(b) how an individual can complain about a breach of privacy and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.By claiming and providing personal information, you consent to the use of your personal information in this manner and you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this promotion. For Australian claimants, your personal information may also be disclosed to overseas locations such as New Zealand, the USA, the UK, Malaysia, the Philippines and India. For New Zealand claimants: Additional uses: In addition to the uses outlined in the Privacy Policy, the Promoter may share collected personal information with the Promoter’s franchised dealers, related companies, agents, contractors or promotional partners for the purpose of conducting and managing the Promotion. The Promoter may also use your personal information to help improve its goods and services. Where the Promoter holds personal information about you that it has collected from different sources, the Promoter may combine this personal information into a single record or collection of linked records. By claiming and providing personal information, a claimant consents to the use of their personal information in this manner. 1 These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about gifts and how to claim forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By claiming, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Claim
2 Your claim must be received during the Promotion Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. If you return a Qualifying Purchase your claim may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion (unless the product is defective). The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks outside its reasonable control. You are responsible for your own costs associated with claiming. If you claim using automatically generated claims or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Gifts
3 Gifts and all elements of gifts must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the gift or any element of the gift for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative gift as a substitute.
4 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a gift.
General
5 If you or your claim are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions materially your claim (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your claims) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction the validity of your claims and/or verifying your identity (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
6 You must not:
(a) tamper with the claim process (including but not limited to manipulating the system via bots, script use, or any other means to circumvent the claim process);
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
7 The Promoter is not liable for gift claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted for
reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
8 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a gift, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this promotion is final.
9 Gifts cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. The gift values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in gift value. You agree that if a gift (or element of a gift) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may
provide another item of equal or higher value.
10 If this promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control (for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, a pandemic, public health orders and the like), the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the promotion or disqualify affected claims/claimants. Where it is practical for it to do so, the Promoter will notify you of such changes.
11 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a gift. You should seek independent financial advice. For Australian claimants, if for GST purposes this promotion results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
12 For New Zealand claimants: You may have consumer rights under statute including under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) (Non-Excludable Guarantees) which may be relevant to any issue or problem you encounter in relation to this promotion and cannot be excluded or restricted. Nothing in these Terms and
Conditions excludes or restricts those rights.
13 For New Zealand claimants: Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law), including liability under the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoters and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including loss of opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this promotion or any gift, whether such loss is direct, indirect, special or consequential, including (without limitation):
(i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters’ control);
(ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(iii) any gift claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters;
(iv) any variation of the gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(v) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; and
(vi) use of, or participation in, the gift by any person.
14 For Australian claimants: You may have consumer rights under any statute including under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), which may be relevant to any issue or problem you encounter in relation to this promotion and cannot be excluded or restricted. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts those rights. See www.accc.gov.au for more information about those rights.
15 For Australian claimants: Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this promotion or any gift, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
16 Without limiting the previous paragraphs, the Promoters and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of gift/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed gift/s (where relevant), due to circumstances beyond the Promoters' reasonable control.
17 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and X. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
