Grease
Some parts in your car require grease as a lubrication agent, such as bearings, joints and hinges. An effective grease avoids sticking and squeaking thus preventing components wearing out prematurely, whilst shielding against moisture and corrosion.
Castrol’s variety of greases range from multipurpose to the special greases which work under demanding conditions and still provide outstanding performance.
Castrol Red Rubber Grease
A rubber compatible grease formulated to be compatible with natural rubber components in a range of cars, light commercial vehicles and any other vehicle using rubber components, particularly brakes and clutch hydraulic mechanisms.
Application
Specifically formulated for rubber to rubber lubrication where any effects such as hardening or swelling of the rubber must be avoided. It therefore can be used on automotive hydraulic brake and clutch components where compatibility with natural rubber and SBR seals are involved. It may also be used to assist the assembly of natural and synthetic rubber components for automotive brakes or clutch systems and suspension units.
Features & benefits
An optimised combination of selected raw materials including vegetable oil and a synthetic gelling agent ensure a grease that demonstrates excellent stability at high temperatures whilst ensuring good corrosion resistant properties and excellent compatibility with both natural and synthetic rubber components.

Protector Series
Castrol Spheerol EPL Range
Multipurpose extreme pressure greases displaying both high melting point and water resistant characteristics. Suitable for plain roller and ball bearings and chassis lubrication. General automotive, industrial and marine applications. These greases have been formulated with additives that provide good film strength under medium to high loads. Also suitable for chassis lubrication.

Non-melting bentone clay based grease suitable for very high temperature applications up to 140°C.
Application
Ideal for front wheel bearings in cars with disc brakes operating at very high temperatures.

Castrol Premium Heavy Duty
A high temperature multipurpose lithium complex grease designed for plain and roller bearing applications.
Application
Suitable for use in wheel bearings of vehicles operating at high speeds over long distances, or where prolonged heavy braking is likely to give higher than normal hub temperatures.

Heavy duty grease combining molybdenum disulphide with extreme pressure additives. For use where shock load protection is required for automotive ball joints and constant velocity joints.
