How to access Mercedes-Benz diagnostic and service tools via the B2B Connect portal

Accessing diagnostics for newer Mercedes-Benz models is now easier for independent workshops thanks to the B2B Connect portal. Here’s a quick guide to registering, using the Digital Service Book (DSB), accessing XENTRY diagnostics and viewing technical documents.


1. Registering on the B2B Connect Portal

Visit https://b2bconnect.mercedes-benz.com. Create an account, select your country and fill in your business and admin contact details. Use your business VAT number during registration.

 

2. Access to the Digital Service Book (DSB)

Once registered, you can apply for DSB access. This allows you to log inspections, ensuring warranty compliance when using OEM or equivalent parts. Enter the vehicle VIN, service details and confirm all work meets Mercedes-Benz procedures.

 

3. XENTRY PassThru Diagnostics Access

To run diagnostics, start by paying a once-off annual system fee of ±R3,600. Then purchase access based on time:

  • 1 hour: ±R255
  • 1 day: ±R1,015
  • 1 week: ±R3,140
  • 1 month: ±R8,100
  • 1 year: ±R55,840

Note: Lower rates apply for vans and Smart vehicles.

 

4. Technical Documentation Access

Access manuals, wiring diagrams, repair instructions and more via XENTRY WIS and DWD:

  • 1 hour: ±R185
  • 1 day: ±R615
  • 1 month: ±R4,920
  • 1 year: ±R22,920

 

5. Access to XENTRY Flash

For ECU coding and flashing, you'll need access to XENTRY Flash and additional two-factor authentication. Request access through the "Contact" section on the portal.


Tip: Avoid registration mistakes, once submitted, your VAT number cannot be reused. Full access enables dealer-level diagnostics, servicing and warranty-safe repairs for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
