Castrol is a proud partner to the Chartwell to Chartwell Missions (c2cMissions). The partnership covers engine oils, gear oils and greases for all 7 Land Rovers that will be driving from Chartwell SA to Chartwell House in the UK. The partnership will see the two companies work closely together in making c2cMission’s aims and goals for c2c22 a success.
c2cMissions was established as a non-profit organisation leading missions to connect Continents, Countries and Communities together, enrolling participants in roles such as drivers, mechanics, cooks, logistics, technology and media that embrace as a Culture to enjoy and learn from.
After the planning for c2c was disrupted by the upheaval of Covid-19, the Mission has returned to its purpose of restoring the knowledge and practical life skills traditionally gained from experiencing travel, outdoor living, artisan training, sports and serving in the forces. c2c22 is the first of five Missions envisioned to take place by 2030 as part of their support for Africa and working with the youth. The intention is to cover 3 Months, 3 Continents, 20 Countries and many Communities.
This partnership enables c2cMission to reach their aims and goals for c2c22, as the Land Rovers will be serviced with Castrol oils designed specifically for their engines, to successfully pursue their goal to cover +/-20000km from Chartwell SA to Chartwell House in the UK and to return The Land Rover ‘Winston’ to the UK, establishing c2c Missions.
We pride ourselves on the quality and performance of our engine oils. Thus, it is of immense importance for us to ensure that this mission has a favourable outcome as it will make an impact of raising R5 Million in developing opportunities for the youth within sustainable environments.
