Explain the Emoji Facebook Contest Terms & Conditions

Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE SUPERBIKE 10W-50- Explain the Emoji Challenge

 

1. Eligibility

  •     This contest is open to all residents of Malaysia aged 18 and above as of the contest start date. Government officials, employees of Castrol and its related companies, agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

 

2. Contest Period

  •  The contest will run from 5th June 2025 – 30th June 2025. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

 

3. How to Participate

  • Visit our official facebook page @castrolmalaysia.
  • Participate by submitting your answer to the “Explain the Emoji” contest post according to the instructions provided.
  • Only one entry per participant is allowed.

 

4. Winner Selection and Announcement

  • A total of 30 winners will be selected based on the best or most creative answer.
  •  In the event that the best answers cannot be decided, winners will be selected based on the earliest correct submissions.
  • Winners will be announced on 10th July 2025 via our Facebook page.
  • Castrol’s decision on the selection of winners is final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

 

5. Prizes

  • Each winner will receive 1 bottle of Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE SUPERBIKE 10W-50 Engine Oil.
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash or other items.
  • Castrol reserves the right to substitute any prize with another item of similar value without prior notice.

 

6. Notification of Winners

  • Winners will be contacted via direct message or via a post on Facebook.
  • Winners must respond within 3 working days of notification, failing which Castrol reserves the right to forfeit the prize and award it to another participant.

 

7. Publicity

  • By participating, participants agree to allow Castrol to use their name, entry, and/or photo for advertising, marketing, and publicity purposes without additional compensation or prior notice.

 

8. Liability and Responsibility

  • Participants take part in this contest at their own risk.
  • Castrol will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by any participant as a result of participating in the contest or accepting any prize.

 

9. Rights of Castrol      

  • Castrol reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Castrol also reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be violating these terms and conditions or manipulating the entry process.
  • Insofar as is permitted by law, Castrol and its employees, contractors and agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any person, the participants or winners, or accept any liability, for any loss, damage, costs, expenses of any nature whatsoever.

 

10. Governing Law

  •  This contest and the terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
