Castrol has been a longtime sponsor of some of the best anglers in the world. And this year is no exception. Catch David Dudley, Darrel Robertson, Mike Surman and Philip Jarabeck as they cast their lines in the world’s biggest fishing competitions.

Dudley is a three-time winner of FLW’s coveted Angler of the Year trophy. He has earned more than $3.2 million in the past 17 years. Before he joined the Castrol Pro Angler Team, he spent his weekdays as a professional roofer and his weekends as a fisherman. Even with all of his wins, it has never been about the money for David—he fishes for the competition.

Darrel Robertson

In 1999, Darrel Robertson won more money in one season than anyone in professional bass-fishing history. Even as an experienced fisherman, he attributes his success in that season to divine intervention. Darrel began fishing professionally in 1991 and made his first appearance on the FLW tour in 1997, and has been virtually unstoppable ever since.

Mike Surman

Mike Surman won the very first FLW tournament he ever entered on January 9, 1996. He fished at an amateur level for 11 years at local Florida events, before taking his skills to the next level. He has qualified for the FLW Tour Championship on five separate occasions, while winning 19 top-10 finishes and earning over half-of-a-million dollars.

Philip Jarabeck’s passion for fishing started when he was still in high school in Richfield, Pennsylvania. He is now an accomplished young angler. With only 33 events fished since 2010, Philip has maintained top-20-or-better finishes in over 45% of these events. Philip passes on his love of fishing by leading summer fishing camps for young people.
