The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) is the premier organization serving professionals who manage and maintain heavy-duty equipment.
Castrol has been a partner with AEMP since 1989 and is now an active member of the AEMP Education Committee. Castrol will soon be contributing numerous educational videos on the AEMP University website. AEMPU offers general education courses that assist in building a current knowledge base. There are four levels of education offered – from basic refreshers to core competency challenges.
An AEMP membership will help your equipment maintenance department to operate at peak performance and help you to make lasting contributions to your organization’s growth. AEMP serves members through conferences, online learning and certifications.
Heavy Machines, Inc. is a Castrol account that sells and leases heavy equipment to the industrial companies in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas. The company recently identified a need to incorporate AEMP education into their organization. John Winters, Regional Sales Representative and General Manager of the Sorrento, LA branch, feels that AEMP will provide a way for his company to become more professional and to maintain its desired image in the market.
The next AEMP Management Conference and annual meeting will take place March 2-3, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. The event will mark the 32nd annual conference, and will feature seminars from AEMP members and other industry experts based on the theme of “Today’s Vision… Tomorrow’s Reality.”
