The returning growth of new construction and roadway improvements has increased the need for heavy equipment to remain in the field for longer periods of time. Construction companies are also expanding their work-area coverage to support this new growth.
While these are welcome factors, they can lead to concerns for fleet and equipment maintenance divisions that are tasked with maintaining their equipment in the field instead of a centralized fleet service location that may be hundreds of miles away.
Mobile lube and lube applications can be the answer to these problems. Mobile applications take the maintenance shop to the job site and can be customized to individual company needs. Mobile applications can be in the form of skid units, sea containers, trailers or trucks that are open or lockable/enclosed units to house and dispense multiple types of lubrication products such as fuel, grease, engine oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, DEF and coolants.
Waste oil extraction and off-load systems can also be combined into a single system on these units to reduce waste oil spillage, clean up and service time. Skid, container and trailer units can be operated by gas-driven air compressors or assembled with an air header that can be connected to an existing air source on site. Truck units can also operate with pneumatic-driven pumps, but also have the option to upgrade to hydraulic-driven pumps for oil, fuel and/or air systems.
All units can be customized with tool boxes, storage boxes, lighting, back-up cameras, customized paint colors, used filter boxes, etc. Welders, vises, and crane lifts are other options that can be added to truck units.
Please be aware that older, non-functional units can be readily refurbished to make them functional again or they can be completely overhauled to appear as new units.
Attached are flyers that present three mobile options for your consideration.
