Over the past several weeks, state and local authorities across the U.S. have issued “Shelter in Place” orders for residents in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These orders instruct people to stay at home and have mandated closure of all “non-essential” businesses.
As an essential business, all Bureau Veritas (BV) testing and inspection services fall under the federal “critical infrastructure” sectors, helping to ensure that HD equipment serviced through the Castrol Labcheck® program is tested normally. All six of BV’s North American oil analysis labs remain open for business and will be following a regular schedule… Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time.
The health and safety of BV’s employees and clients continues to be our number one priority. We have implemented several changes in the laboratory to comply with all CDC guidelines and recommendations.
We are monitoring the situation in our labs daily and, in the event the situation changes and it is no longer safe to operate at one, we are prepared to institute our pandemic contingency plan which would include the following:
