CASTROL LABCHECK / Post date: 10 March 2013
The Labcheck Next Generation (LCNG) journey continues. The following are recent updates to the LCNG program or new enhancements that will be available over the next several months:
Select All / Select None Functionality: This update, which has already been implemented, will help a user to quickly select or de-select multiple choices within a group.
Test Slate Realignment: As of February 1, 2013, testing has been realigned and simplified by equipment type and three service levels: Basic, Standard, and Premium. These options will ensure more flexibility and allow customers to customize service levels based on equipment criticality. An expanded menu of add-on tests is now available for more in-depth testing or forensic investigation.
Batch Reports Printing: New functionality has been added to allow printing of 50 reports at one time. If a larger number is required, the system collates those reports in the background and emails them when able.
Bar Code Functionality for Labels: The LCNG development team is working on adding bar code to the label functionality. The release of this feature is expected in early Q2 2013. Several resources will be available to train users on this new functionality.
New Test Kits: Sometime later in Q2 2013, a new larger 4 oz. bottle will become the new standard sample size and there will be one bottle per return mailer. In conjunction, the packaging for the 10- and 100-pack kits will also be redesigned.
Please be sure to reach out to your Castrol sales representative or field engineer with any questions or suggestions about these enhancements or the Labcheck program in general.
