Today, Renault DP World F1 Team's vision is to be the best team in Formula One. It’s a vision that we share at Castrol – and a journey we are very proud to be part of.
Our technology is built on the bedrock of our great achievements in motorsport. The last time Castrol partnered with Renault in 1997, Williams Renault won the F1™ Constructors and Drivers’ Championship. Today's partnership is build on that same mission to win.
For Castrol, competing and developing products at the highest level of motorsport provides our Castrol EDGE engine oils with a unique opportunity - allowing us to take learnings from our work with Renault F1Team and feed these back into our product development.
Quite simply, the Castrol EDGE engine oil used on the road benefits from the transferable knowledge obtained through our product testing on the Formula One track.
Joining the Castrol-backed Renault DP World F1 Team in 2019, Daniel Ricciardo - AKA the Honey Badger - is one Australia's most accomplished drivers.
