CASTROL MAGNATEC: clinging molecules, reinvented

Castrol MAGNATEC with DUALOCK technology uses the combination of two different protective molecules. They lock together at the surface to create a powerful force-field of protection, leading to dramatic reduction of both warm-up and stop-start wear.

IT'S AN INCREASINGLY URBANISED WORLD

Traffic congestion has increased dramatically over the past decade. It is getting more severe and more challenging - for drivers, their engines, and their engine oil. Today, even a normal driver can stop and start up to 18,000 times a year**. That’s annoying, but worse, it slowly damages the engine - permanently. Constant decelerating, idling and accelerating increases microscopic engine wear, with metal fragments worn from the surfaces of critical engine parts, turning into damaging wear particles.
