Castrol Cricket is 1 Million strong!

Castrol is the Official Performance Partner to the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2011. ICC hosts the most coveted trophies in International cricket – The World Cups & Champions Trophy (for ODIs and Twenty20 format).

Recently, during the ICC Champions Trophy England and Wales, 2013, the exciting ‘Cling on to Cricket’ campaign was launched! For the first time ever in international cricket, fans’ tweets were displayed LIVE on the LED perimeter board during the tournament games. 

Through various contests, lucky winners got a once in a lifetime opportunity – to watch the India-Pakistan & the Finals match LIVE at the Edgbaston stadium in UK. Exclusive Google hangouts with Castrol’s ambassador, Harsha Bhogle, brought the fans to the centre of all the cricketing action.

During the ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh, 2014 the Castrol Activ Scooter Zip Factor was born! It was a specially designed T-20 statistics measuring a player’s performance in all 3 facets of the game – batting, bowling and fielding, essentially capturing the impact a player has on his side’s performance. The Zip Factor scores were available on an app, that was launched by cricket experts Harsha Bhogle & former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid.
