Castrol POWER1 engine oils have been developed with cutting-edge formulation technology, underpinned by more than 100 years' experience in motorcycle lubrication.

Castrol POWER1

PRESENTING NEW AND IMPROVED CASTROL POWER1 RANGE

New Castrol POWER1 and new Castrol POWER1 Racing outperform competitors and previous formulations in acceleration tests.*

The all-new formulations of POWER1 4T and POWER1 Racing 4T have been designed to outperform leading competitors and to deliver superior engine performance.

They have been developed with cutting-edge formulation technology, underpinned by more than 100 years' experience in motorcycle lubrication. In addition, they have been tested using Castrol proprietary state-of-the-art methodologies based on latest generation motorcycle hardware.

It took 338 engine and chassis dyno tests, lasting over 8 hours hours and covering distances equivalent to 218km to develop new POWER1 and POWER1 Racing ranges and to prove their performance.*

RACE DERIVED TECHNOLOGY ™

NEW CASTROL POWER1 RACING 4T WITH RACE DERIVED TECHNOLOGY™

PROVEN TO STAY STRONG AND DELIVER ACCELERATION IN RACE TRACK CONDITIONS.

New Castrol POWER1 Racing 4T 10W-50 completed a 5.2km test cycle 2.2 seconds quicker than a competitor 10W-40, in a 3-stage acceleration test conducted by Castrol, using a 4-cylinder supersport engine.

Additionally, in a gruelling 48,000km test following a drive cycle which simulates fast laps of a race circuit and followed by fast cruises between laps*, new Castrol POWER1 Racing 4T maintained 94% of the initial maximum test power produced by the engine.

POWER SUSTAIN TECHNOLOGY ™

NEW CASTROL POWER1 4T 15W AND 20W WITH POWER SUSTAIN TECHNOLOGY ™

MANAGES HEAT AND FRICTION IN BIKES, ENSURING CONTINUOUS POWER DELIVERY, THEREBY OFFERING ON-DEMAND ACCELERATION WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST.

Oxidation of an oil can cause it to thicken, diminishing its ability to lubricate engine parts, which may make the bike feel a bit sluggish. Castrol POWER1 with Power Sustain Technology™ provides continuous power delivery through its excellent ability to resist oxidation at higher temperatures.
