Jaguar Racing have confirmed a long-term partnership renewal with leading brand Castrol within the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, further extending a successful partnership starting in the 1980s in motorsport.

 

Castrol will continue to support the team with technical expertise on and off the track, helping drive Jaguar Racing to more points, podiums and wins with powertrain efficiency gains from lightweight, low friction greases and oils.

 

Jaguar Racing have benefitted from using Castrol e-Transmission Fluid to date, which has delivered a significant step up in performance, both for cooling and reducing friction losses. Together, the teams are currently developing a new powertrain fluid for coming seasons that will further improve performance through cooling and component design in the Jaguar I-TYPE.

 

As a key technical partner Castrol understands Jaguar Racing’s ‘Race to Innovate’ philosophy, which aims to influence the next generation of electric vehicles.  Castrol’s advanced e-Fluids, e-Transmission Fluids, e-Coolants and e-Greases, will extend the life of powertrain systems in Jaguar Land Rover’s current and future road car products like the multi award-winning all-electric Jaguar I-PACE.
