Our response to the developing situation of COVID-19 (coronavirus)
As many of us are experiencing in our daily lives, the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is causing unprecedented global disruption. It’s affecting families, friends, and colleagues, and our thoughts are with all who have been personally impacted by the virus.
In this rapidly changing environment, I wanted to update you about what our teams across Castrol are doing and how this will help us to support you and your business. We care about the health and safety of our employees, customers, distributors and communities.
We’ve taken action to look after our employees, with many now working from home. In order to continue to supply you with our products and services during this period, our critical staff remain on site and we’ve taken steps to protect them too.
We’ve activated our business continuity plans so we can respond as quickly as possible to the changes we’re seeing. Our response teams are working around the clock to do all they can to get you the products you need.
And we’re working with you, our customers, to understand and respect procedures that you have put in place to protect your employees.
While we may not be able to meet you face-to-face at the moment, we will stay in touch in other ways. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Castrol representative or our Castrol Customer Services Centres.
We’re also working with our teams in China and Asia to learn from their experiences. They offer us great hope that we will manage through this.
We all have a role to play in pulling together during this difficult time. Thank you for being a loyal Castrol customer, we are committed to working with you as we face the challenges of this fast-changing and highly complex situation.
