We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand our practices with respect to the handling of your personal data. This privacy statement explains how we do this.

The personal data we collect and use
This site allows you to voluntarily register for personalized services or mobile apps offered by BP, Castrol, or Aral. Once you have registered, we can associate your registration data with further access permission to other services or mobile apps so that separate accounts per service won't be necessary anymore.

If you decide to register you will be asked to submit some limited personal data which is necessary for us to provide access to the service or the mobile app you have chosen. Further, we will collect and store your consent information for each service/application you signed up for.

If any form which collects your personal data allows you to voluntarily provide additional information, we seek this information, because we think it will help us to give you a better-quality service. You do not have to provide such information if you do not wish to do so.
Site traffic information and cookies
To learn about what cookies and similar technologies are, we recommend that you visit the following third-party website: www.allaboutcookies.org.

Like many websites, this site uses cookies for a variety of purposes. These technologies collect information about your device hardware and interactions with our site.
Who do we share your personal data with and where does it go?
Your registration data will be available to authorized teams only with role-based access permissions limited to their functional needs.

Any personal data you submit on this site will be securely transferred to our international service provider which is based in the United States and self-certified to the EU/US Privacy Shield framework.

BP group-internal data transfers are legitimized by BP’s group-wide Binding Corporate Rules, which guarantee an adequate level of data protection.

We have the right to disclose your personal data as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, request from a regulator or any other legal process served on BP. If there is a takeover, sale or purchase of our business, we may disclose your personal data to the new (or prospective) owner of the business.
How long do we keep your information?
We will hold your information as long as you keep your registration/account active. Accounts, which haven't been used for 2 years, will be automatically deactivated. If your account is not reactivated within 12 months from deactivation, it will be de-personalized or deleted.

If you choose to unsubscribe from a service, we may keep a ‘suppression list’ containing your details so that we are able to honor your preferences.
Your rights, complaints and how to contact us
You have the right to access your personal data and ask for recertification of your personal data, if it is false or incomplete. You may also withdraw your consent at any time with the effect that your registration and permissions will be deleted as soon as possible.

If you reside in the European Union, you also have the right to raise a privacy concern directly with your national Data Protection Authority. In case of any privacy related questions or concerns, please contact us via email at accounts_team@bp.com.
