AJM Transport in New South Wales, Australia, is one of those companies.

Founded 20 years ago, by Anthony and Megan Mansell with just one truck, today AJM runs a fleet of 90 trucks and 240 trailers.

They provide vital distribution services along the Eastern Seaboard,  with vehicles  clocking up to 12,000 km a week.

AJM decided to trial Castrol Vecton to improve engine performance and reduce failures.

Since switching they have extended oil drains intervals  from sixty-thousand to eighty-thousand km*, which has lowered oil consumption by 37%*. They have some trucks approaching the 1.5million km mark with the  AJM mechanics reporting  little-to-no wear on cam shafts, and engines looking extremely clean. 

The impact goes beyond less maintenance and fewer failures – it takes  pressure off  the workshop, so the team can focus on other improvements.

The fleet now uses a combination of Castrol oils, fluids and greases, across trucks and trailers and to improve performance and reliability.
