Representing the 4th generation of Walter Farming, Andrew Walter owns and operates a broad acre farm with his mother Gladys. The 3,500 acre business was established by both his parents in 1968, his father Alan has since passed but his farming legacy lives on.
From an early age Andrew had a passion for farming and a thirst for knowledge. Inspired by his dream to be the first farmer in the world to genetically modify and breed his own crop plants, he gained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a PhD in Plant Molecular Breeding to reach it.
