Con Ikonomopoulos shares his passions, relationships and growing his trucking business in Mt Waverley, Victoria, from humble beginnings to a business which supports his young family.
Con Ikonomopoulos is the Founder and Director of Navarone Transport based in Mt Waverley, Victoria. Starting off his trucking business with an 8 tonne 1982 Isuzu tray truck in the early 90s, Con has grown his fleet operation into 8 Prime Movers comprising of Kenworths, Western Stars and Freightliners.
Con’s first job was as a panel beater. His father gave his sister and himself a small amount of money, and told both of them to see what they could do for themselves and their future. With his savings and the small investment from his father, Con put a deposit on the family house and financed his first Isuzu. From there the business went from strength to strength, building a legacy to support his young family.
Con had built his business on strengthening his network and forging trusted relationships. For the last 7 years he has trusted the service of his fleet to Truckline Hallam, who not only service using Castrol RX Super 15W-40 but provide reliable service and support to keep his business moving.
