Working to support our customers and the community - our response to the developing situation of COVID-19 (coronavirus)
The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is causing unprecedented global disruption with significant impacts affecting our families, friends, our colleagues and our communities. We are all touched by this global challenge, and our thoughts are with all who have been personally impacted by the virus.
As we continue to monitor the rapidly changing situation and environment, I wanted to share with you our measures and approach to safety and operations during this period.
We’ve taken action to look after our employees, with many now working from home. In order to continue to supply you with our products and services during this period, our critical staff remain on site and we’ve taken steps to protect them too. In order to protect the health and wellbeing of our customers, we have suspended direct face to face contact and will instead be staying connected utilizing other forms of technology.
We’ve activated our business continuity plans to respond as quickly as possible to the daily changes. Our response teams are working around the clock to do all they can to get you the products you need.
Our carriers are applying appropriate social distancing during any interaction. Deliveries will no longer require a signature and deliveries will
be dropped in a location where social distancing can be maintained.
We are continuing to produce at our plants locally and we will do our best to mitigate any challenges identified in our ability to meet demand forecast, we are obviously managing this situation closely.
Importantly, we are also working with our customers, to understand and respect procedures that they too have put in place to protect their employees.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on the advice of health authorities. The safety and wellbeing of our people, our customers and the communities in which we operate in is our highest priority and we want to minimise exposure and risk while also fulfilling our obligations as a critical provider of goods and services.
