M-Sport Ford – World Rally Championship
Castrol's relationship with Ford and M-Sport in the World Rally Championship stretches back to 2003. With a 13-round calendar that ranges from freezing temperatures in Sweden and high altitudes in Mexico to 140mph+ speeds in Finland, the uniquely challenging nature of the World Rally Championship provides the ultimate testing ground to develop and demonstrate the strength of Castrol EDGE.
Ford Chip Ganassi – WEC & IMSA
Ford is running two Ford GTs powered by Castrol EDGE SUPERCAR technology in both the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship (referred to as IMSA) until the end of 2019 (4 cars total). Both teams run under the name ‘Ford Chip Ganassi Racing’. The two sets of two Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GT cars run in two separate championships until all four cars are brought together at Le Mans 24 Hours, and other races where Ford require more than two cars to compete. These cars are specifically engineered to extract maximum performance, serving as an important proving ground for top manufacturers in the industry and an important showcase for the superior performance of Castrol EDGE SUPERCAR.
