Modern truck engines are durable and dependable. But with the rigorous demands of long distance haulage and today’s dense traffic conditions, it’s inevitable that they’ll consume some oil.A recent survey conducted by Castrol in both the UK and Ireland showed that although many drivers were regularly checking oil levels there was a lack of understanding when it came to the importance of topping up and which oil to use.
In response Castrol have developed Top Tips both for fleet managers and for drivers to help ensure trucks are topped up as required.
