The Super Saloon Regional Racing series for 2010 has been a great success for the Castrol Edge Team from Savspeed Auto. With the last race just around the corner on the 23rd of October we are satisfied to announce that this year has been a great challenge for the Castrol Edge Team.

The Black Castrol Edge M3 Turbo belonging to Sav Gualtieri has proudly brought back to Savspeed five of seven trophies this year, which for the past nine years have been the exclusive ownership of the Chew V8 belonging to the well recognized Willie Hepburn. This would not have been possible had it not been for the gracious support of Castrol.

It is then with high spirits that the Castrol Edge Team is acknowledged the over-all Super Saloons Champion for 2010.

Just a taste of what it took to be the Champions.

We are delighted to say that in the past two years racing, the Castrol Edge M3 Turbo suffered no major mechanical problems besides 2 burned valves which is a true testament to the Castrol Edge product for a production engine producing 850+ Hp.

The only problems we had was a broken diff, one broken gearbox and two burned valves. An incredible achievement. To understand what punishment this engine has taken over the past 2 years, log onto these video’s and pass on to your technical department.
