From the start I used Castrol
I bought my 1990 Mustang GT brand new from a dealership in Northern California. I am in sales so I drive
this car a lot. From the start I used Castrol GTX 20w 50 up until I reached 200,000 miles then I switched
to Castrol GTX 10w 30 until my car reached 375,000 miles. Now I use Castrol High Mileage 10w 30 and I
have 447,000 on the original motor. I have never touched the motor and it burns only one quart of oil in
3 months and no smoke at all.
When I had this car in California it passed every emission test. I had one emission test person who hated Fords say he fails all Fords because he hates them but mine passed with flying colors and he wasn't very happy but I was. Every time I change the oil you can see the valve covers are so clean you can eat off them (don't do this at home). I have to thank Castrol for the life blood of my engine that continues to run great. My friends are amazed about how many miles I have on my car and how it still looks almost like new.
