I am the 2nd owner of this 1966 Mustang GT. I grew up with the car and always wanted it. It was my best friend's dad's car. My friend and his brother drove the car until they got out of high school. It sat for about 13 years. I kept telling them that they needed to sell me the car. After a few years of begging and pleading, it finally happened. I got the phone call that they were going to let it go. So in May 2004 I got the car. I have been working on it ever since.
I am just getting done with the engine I rebuilt in 2006 and decided to have some fun with it. Instead of going back to a stock engine I decided to dress up the v8 289. I have put a lot of time and money into this car and I am not done yet. I LOVE this car and am having fun with it. The car needs a lot of work and I can't wait to get it painted, but until then I will continue to show it off proudly.
