A man named Mr. Barner, who used to own a service station in Clifton, TX, told me if I ever bought a new car, to only use Castrol oil in it and the motor would last a long time.
I remembered what he said and a few years later, I bought a brand new 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier. I started using Castrol GTX 10w30 in it as soon as I bought it. I change the oil every 3,000 miles. Mr. Barner was right! It has 362,000 plus miles on it. The motor still runs like a new car and does not use oil.
