I have done absolutely no work to the engine since I owned it
I first started using Castrol GTX High Mileage motor oil on my original car, a 1983 Plymouth Turismo 2.2L which I drove for 13 years until 1996. The car had 222,000 miles on it and the engine was original and running great but the harsh New England winters and rock salt took its toll on the frame so I reluctantly traded it in.
My current car is a 1991 Honda Accord EX wagon which I bought used at 60,000 miles in 1996 and immediately continued my routine of using Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W–40 motor oil and changing the oil every 3000 miles. Today the vehicle runs like the day I bought it. I have done absolutely no work to the engine since I owned it. I didn't hesitate to drive the car from my previous home in Massachusetts to my new home in North Carolina 2 years ago and I fully expect to be driving it another 10 years from now!
