Badal Doshi is Hyderabad’s Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker

Badal S Doshi beat back tough competition from 85 Participants to win the title of the Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker from Hyderabad. Badal will represent Hyderabad at the All India Finals in New Delhi on 22nd April 2009. The Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker competition included a test of biking skills, bike style quotient, biking knowledge and overall passion for biking.

Commenting on his victory, Badal said, “I am absolutely thrilled to win the title of Hyderabad’s Most Passionate Biker. Castrol is completely involved in the spirit of biking and Passion Hunt is the perfect platform for bikers to unleash their talent and passion for biking. This challenge has given me a chance to prove my skills against my fellow riders and I look forward to participating in the finals at Delhi. I will do my best to win the Yamaha R1, which is my dream machine and it will be an honour to receive the same from my biking hero John Abraham.”

Giving away the prizes, Rajesh Madhavan – Regional Sales Operations Manager - South, Castrol India Limited said, “I am delighted at the response we have got for the Castrol Power1Passion Hunt event in Hyderabad. In every city where the Power1 Passion Hunt has been conducted so far, the event has seen keen competition. Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt is a unique event which allows bikers to have a fun time, showcase their skills and style and yet do it in a safe manner. Post Hyderabad, the competition will move on to the last two city legs - Chennai and Bangalore. The nine city winners will then compete against each other as well as the on line winner, at the All India Finals to be held in New Delhi. Castrol brand ambassador – actor John Abraham flagged off the Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt in Mumbai in February and he will also be present at the finals in New Delhi to give away the grand prize to the winner. John Abraham is a passionate biker himself and his presence in Delhi will encourage the finalists to give off their best.

In addition to the on ground event, Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt also has an online component. Bikers can log on to www.power1hunt.com and create their own personal profiles as passionate bikers to showcase the same to the world. On this site, bikers can upload pictures, videos and stories pertaining to biking. Visitors to the site can vote for the online ‘Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker’ who will also participate in the finals. To promote this exciting event, Castrol has partnered with PVR Cinemas and Radio City.
