Speaking about his victory, Mr. Malcolm Ilavia said, “The Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt is a great opportunity for passionate bikers like myself. I had great fun all day and I am thrilled to be crowned Mumbai’s Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker. I am looking forward to the finals where I will have the opportunity to meet John Abraham – a most passionate biker himself. What I liked about this event was the underlying message promoted by Castrol Power1 that you don’t have to be unsafe to be passionate and cool about biking. In fact, it is very uncool to be unsafe on a bike or anywhere else and that is a message I will carry with me for all times”.
Speaking at the event, Vikram Garga, Marketing Manager - Motorcycle Oils, Castrol India Limited, said, ‘Castrol has a long and successful association with biking and in fact all forms of motor sport. We are the market leaders in the two wheeler engine oil segment in India and have a very close relationship with the biking community. This is the 100th year of the Castrol brand in India and we decided to do something really exciting around our performance enhancing two-wheeler brand – Castrol Power1. The Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt will further strengthen our relationship with our customers – especially with those bikers who love their bikes and who in fact form the core of our motorcycle engine oil consumer base. The Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt will provide biking enthusiasts a platform to display their talent and passion in a safe and controlled environment”.
