Castrol India has chosen Bangalore as the first city in India to launch a revolutionary new concept in motorcycle servicing workshops. Castrol BikeZone workshops will enable motorcyclists to benefit from the highest levels of technical advice and customer service – with the full backing of the Castrol brand.
Castrol’s first BikeZone was launched in Bangalore today by Rahul Dravid, India’s cricket Vice Captain. “Its good to see Castrol taking the lead in this market” said Rahul whilst inaugurating the workshop. “It’s a terrific idea and I am sure bike owners will have a great experience at the new Castrol BikeZone”.
Castrol BikeZones will be differentiated by the key benefits of guaranteed quality, personalized service, clear menu driven pricing and complete transparency in all dealings - with ‘no surprises’ for the customers.
Speaking at the launch of Castrol BikeZone, Naveen Kshatriya, Managing Director, Castrol India, said – “India is one of the fastest growing motorcycle market in the world and Castrol India has a dominant market share position in the motorcycle lubricant market. Castrol BikeZone is based on a key consumer insight on the need for reliable and ‘value for money’ servicing. Few brands have the heritage, equity and technological credibility that Castrol has in India and I am sure that this new concept will be eagerly accepted by motorcycle owners”.
The Castrol BikeZone concept involves franchising the Castrol brand to independent workshop owners and entrepreneurs to create a chain of high quality Castrol franchised motorcycle workshops. The company plans to launch around 45 BikeZones in Bangalore, Chennai and Pune over the next 6-8 months. Suresh Sunderam, the owner of the first Castrol BikeZone said “I am delighted to be given the honor of being the first franchisee of a Castrol BikeZone. My customers can expect the same high quality and customer service standards for which Castrol are renowned worldwide”.
