Naveen Kshatriya – Managing Director, Castrol India Limited has been appointed as Regional Vice President of BP’s Transcontinental lubricant business. BP is the second largest oil company and the eighth largest company in the world. The transcontinental lubricant business includes South Asia (including India), Middle East, Africa and Turkey. The Region covers 20 countries spread across 3 continents and employs over 1400 employees. Its brand portfolio includes five major lubricant brands – Castrol, Aral, BP, Duckhams and Veedol. In his new position, Naveen Kshatriya will report to (BP) Group VP, Lubricants, the head of Global lubricants business. He will be a member of the Global Lubricants Leadership team.
Naveen Kshatriya will simultaneously oversee Castrol India as Managing Director, now supported by a new position - GM India. Castrol is the market leader in the Indian retail automotive lubricant industry. Globally, India has been identified as a high priority focus unit.
Naveen Kshatriya joined Castrol India in 1998 as Consumer Business Director and was later appointed Marketing Director of Asia Pacific Lubricants business, based in Hong Kong / Singapore. He returned to India in May 2002 as CEO & Managing Director of Castrol India Ltd. Naveen Kshatriya has a deep expertise in marketing and customer management from a successful career in Unilever, Castrol and now BP. He has extensive knowledge of developing economies having worked in Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East.
